We sow wildflower seeds
there will be meadow
providing rain
Promise
hi Luke,
Never had much success with wildflower seeds - well, zero success actually. Goodluck on that Sowing/planting does promise,
and that optimism is like a rain on despondency. We had a classic Welsh downpour last night!
cheers

Hey Luke, I wonder if twisting the phrasing a bit might make for something a bit more interesting (I just found the phrasing a bit bland for such a short piece). Example below, anyway. Hope it's of some help.
To sow wildflower seeds
is to believe there will be meadow
providing rain.
All the best,

Hi, I've read this a few times and each time it almost sounds like the meadow is providing rain, not the rain is nurturing the meadow. (might just be me). Perhaps if the last line were
providing it rains.
a suggestion
We sow wildflower seeds
anticipate a meadow
providing it rains

Hi Luke
The sowing of wildflower seeds is a stark reminder for me. I'd sow them, only to pull them up later in the year, thinking they were weeds. Then I'd remember.
A pleasant little haiku that could stand a nudge here and there. It's definitely worth pursuing, though.
Enjoyed
