Well worth a listen. I don't believe gulls caw. The word makes me think of crows.

The write up on poetry foundation mentions 'elasticity' of poetry. I like that notion. I like the word 'playfulness' in the poem, and the phrase 'plagiarizing the future'. I think the latter is a danger for formalist poetry, that safety net of repetition.
