Hello Mr Risin

hello mr risin
did you break on through
just like your song
or was it the end ?

did you choose to go?
cos i think you did
was it all too much
or perhaps not enough?

they made you rock
your mind was poetic
a colourful brain
under the influence

one last trip mr Risin
a ticket to another land
or maybe the finish line?
i wish i knew

permanent damage
or enlightenment forever?
why did you go Mr Mojo Risin
who knows, who knows

To me, this is much more interesting. Lighter in tone but far more effective. Would make a great song lyric. (Maybe it is already?)

Hi Cameron, the poems about Jim Morrison of The Doors, Mr Mojo Risin is what he called himself at some point during his life(anagram of Jim Morrison). Jim longed to be a poet and moved to France only to die of a drug overdose shortly after. Thanks again Cameron , i have never wrote a poem like this before and its down to you for pointing me in theright direction. cheers

I was tired last night and misunderstood your question, the only Doors song titles used were those two that you mentioned. thanks
