Yes, you're fairly ubiquituous...

So am I, though.

It breaks the day up quite nicely, I think.

that girl wrote:So, Julie and I post (though she posts rarely) from the same computer.

Does this mean my twin sister is a figment of my imagination?

And here is a question, what if someone has acces to more than one computer?

ooooh..
TG, well for instance Camus and the Stranger come up as posting from the same IP address - which usually means the same computer, (but not always). Then it gets complicated, AOL for instance (as Nicola pointed out to me) seemingly has the same IP address for all posters, I lose the plot there.

At the end of the day if the poetry is enjoyed and the people are not schitzing out just so they can praise their own poetry, I guess it doesn't really matter.

If someone has access to more than one connection, then they can play the game to their hearts content and we'll probably never know.

What about Nicola? She's really quiet, no one would suspect her.

Sorry to disappoint you but I'm just the resident IT geek and have never even been to Tombstone.

cheers

Isn't it interesting that this has sparked such a debate that July 14, 1881's poem looks really popular, now with 30 replies. In reality, it's the biggest load of crap I've seen on here. Isn't there a word for that ... something beginning with ir and ending in onic?

Alex there is more behind this load of crap then you know, and indeed look at the conversation it sparked. no amount of sweat and misery can make a better piece of art.

OK, but the only conversation it started was about a topic that was brought up completely independently of this 'poem'. There isn't a single critique about your 'work of art', it's all just internal coversation between the valued members of this forum.

And it's interesting that you think poetry involves sweat and misery, rather than expression, satisfaction and escapism, which is what I'd immediately attribute to poetry and poetry writing.

SWEAT AND MISERY Mmmmmmmmm.....I think if the day ever come that i would become sweating and miserable and drowning my paper with my own perspiration,Will be the day i stop attempting to write poetry....Really JULY 14,1881;iF THAT'S WHAT YOUTHINK POETRY IS ALL ABOUT then your sadly mistaken it's about expression feeling and attempting to transform your emotions and thoughts onto paper,I think perhaps your are misguided how about writing a proper piece of poetry?Maybe you could prove us all wrong......Alex is spot on in what he says you should take good advice on board...Tom..

My goodness, now we're giving Mr. July the pleasure of watching us argue with just one of his statements?

And sorry to Nicola, not that you were ever actually a suspect, but I was thinking out loud about all possibilities.

Anyhow....
