I can walk through walls
I can walk through walls,
but I can’t balance on a stall.
I can run much faster than a train,
but I can’t stand the touch of the rain.
I can fly like a rocket into outer space,
but I can’t stop my dreams vanishing,
gone, no trace!
I can save a cat from tree,
but I can’t bare unsightly knees.
I can shoot a laser from one eye,
but I can’t bear to harm a fly.
I can swim the deepest oceans,
but I can’t work out my own emotions!
I can walk through walls
Nice one Mick,
I enjoyed the contrast of what you can and can´t do.
The structure is also working well with this.
An enjoyable read
thanks

to anticipate touching what is unseen seems far more interesting than seeing what the hand can not touch

Wouldn't "on being a boy" and "on being a superhero" the same thing?
I would love to hear you read it aloud... with your chest out high and your hands on your hips!
Thanks for the snapshot of youth.
