One Half In Selfish Things

[Lovely]

One half lives in riches the other poor
one half lives in peace the other war,
one half says a lot the other doesn't care
one half rich in gold the other nothing.


One half promises things
and the other lacks its wings,
barren desert one half cries
the other cares not where it lies!

One half of the earth is split
one half is the other starves,
barren lands, earthly pits,
more drier than life on mars.

One half says it cares and other weeps
one half drives gas guzzling cars the other sleeps,
One half is all it takes one half of our hearts;
one half to cause change that half to start.

The world is over populated that cannot be changed
one half breed the two, the other ten again,
this world it needs a wake up call.


Where is the answer then,
the answer to it all?
If one half continues with its madness
they'll be no world at all!

this reminded me of my own pieces that I have posted here. great minds, fools seldom differ. There where some nice facts in there and I thought it was a nice take on the subject mater.It did flow well in my head.

Your writes are always loaded with so many ideas, there's subject matter here for 50 poems!
