Four porcelain towers stand around,
which gracefully point heaven bound,
ten thousand silver bells sweet
have they, whose tinkling sounds run out to greet
the happiness that dwells in summer's air,
where silver shade has not a care,
singing forth her answers to those sounds
she awakens all the flowers in the palace grounds

the goldfish in the lakes jump and glisten
within the deep pools of green amethystine
shades. The wren, she dances on,
in a Mozart multicoloured feathery sing-a-long,
while golden-robin blushes with ardour
to meet her lover by the harbour,
in the garden of the Emperor's Ring
where thirty-thousand nightingales sing.

Hi, it amazes me! how do you come up with this stuff?
I found this really vivid and serne in the vibe it gives off.
some really nice visuals in there,is sounds like the kind of place i'd like to see.
don't know why, but the opening reminded me of the game tomb raider!
Loved it,thanks.

Lovely,

Where is it? The name doesn't sound English. It's a beautiful scenery you depicted.

You have two "silver" in S1. Who is she in S1? Is she a wren as in S2?
I enjoyed the scenes you portrayed.

Best,
Lake

Wow. This is restrained in the extreme, L. You see, sometimes less is more. In fact I actually know someone called Les Moore. Nice chap.

Your line lengths are a bit erratic again, but I like the amethystine and the Mozart.

You have a singing soul, don't you.

Cheers

L has far more than singing soul, Big Fella!
She's more talent in her lil pinky than most have nor realise.

Lovely, this was written far too quickly... which limits your usual over wordiness.... COOOOLLLLL!

Now without adding squat in lenght to this, show em what you can really do with it (depth wise)... Pretty please

102 reads and only 3 comments....tis bloody rude if you ask me!

Dedicated to David Carradine: (The Palace Of Li Wang Ho)

I say this with a sad note in my heart. I wrote thie poem on thursday last week. I've only just found out today that
he died (last night) in a bangkok hotel with a rope round his neck. I always loved his portrayal in the series Kung Fu in
the 1970s, playing the part of a young Shaolin priest. Much later on he played a starring role in the Quentin Tarantino
'Kill Bill' films. He wrote a memoir called the Spirit of Shaolin and continued to make instructional videos on Tai Chi.

I only hope he finds such 'a palace' as this somewhere. Condolences to all those that loved him.
