Hey ho! Back on the recordings!

This is a bit dreadful for a few reasons,

One being that my mic gives a horrid feedback beep in the background, and because it's multitracked it causes a bit of dissonance...honest it's not just me singing flat...well it's mostly not me singing flat. The other reason is that the verses are a little low for my voice, and I don't have a capo!

Mainly I wan't know what you guys think of my arrangement, because I think the song is truly a beautiful song but Lene Marlin managed to make it sound very europopy and not very good so I wanted to make it sound more intimate and sad...

so anyways here's my cover:

And here's the original:

And the lyrics + chords:

em C
Kinda lose your sense of time, cause the days don't matter no more
D G
All the feelings that you hide, are gonna tear you up inside
am D
You hope she hopes you've tried
em C
Follows you around all day and you wake up soaking wet.
D G am
For between this world and eternity there is a face you hope to see

em C
You know where you've sent her, you sure know where you are
D G
You're trying to ease off, but you know you won't get far
C D
And now she's up there, sings like an angel,
G D/F# em
But you can't hear those words
C D em
And now she's up there, sings like an angel - Unforgivable sinner

You've been walking around in tears no answers are there to get
You won't ever be the same, someone cries and you're to blame
Struggling with a fight inside, sorrow you'll defeat
The picture you'll see it won't disappear, not unpleasant dreams or her voice you hear

You know where you've sent her, you sure know where you are
You're trying to ease off, but you know you won't get far
And now she's up there, sings like an angel,
But you can't hear those words
And now she's up there, sings like an angel - Unforgivable sinner

am em
Maybe one time lost, but now you're found
D C
Stand right up before you hit the ground
am em
Maybe one time lost, but now you're found
D C
Stand right up before you hit the ground

You know where you've sent her, you sure know where you are
You're trying to ease off, but you know you won't get far
And now she's up there, sings like an angel,
But you can't hear those words
And now she's up there, sings like an angel - Unforgivable sinner

I hope this is okay :S
Enjoy :)

I agree, I much prefer your stripped down, personal version. Other than the feedback, and a few flat spots this is really good.

Well done Sir,
