Lonesome but stubborn

The threshold you've crossed
will never be offered
to another pair of boots.

Behind my closed door,
I choose to not dance
with a partner until you return.

No one compares to you in your dancing shoes.

Suzanne

Well conveyed and good choice of imagery used to depict the exlusive nature of your content.
I too, liked the neat form and symmetry.

Hi Suzanne,

Neat, compact and rich - plus I've learnt new form. I'd never heard of Severnlings (mind you I haven't heard of a lot of things).

Thanks for the read & I admire your ability to condense an image so well.

Cheers

I have been away on holiday but wanted to say...
Thank you for the nice responses to this sevenling, which I had never heard of before.

Thank you, Aru! you are a master of the short forms. I will add this one to my list.

I really appreciated the feedback.
