truth?
A wise woman once said to her son,
‘Stay intelligent despite your education.’
Never allow the manifestations of perception
To bypass the filtration of your intuition.
The t in truth should never be capital,
For human understanding is transient or cyclical,
And knowledge construction is deeply political
Even if its protagonists appear evangelical.
So question everything said by those on the screen,
The men in suits trying to scare you or sell you a dream,
And resist internalizing everything you have seen
Until confident your intuition has filtered it clean.
