I always love how regal these are- standing tall, head high. They can be quite fragrant as well. This one made me get off my bike and capture it, it may have called my name or whistled, lol, not sure. Thought i would share.

Ooh, it really would. You could find me there today and I'd be happy to buy. Everyone can come to the Whistling Thistle where you can pretend life is easy and you get what you want and everyone's happy. Yes, find me there today. Who'll write the poem? You do it, Ben, it was such a good idea. Drinks are on me.

I like the way the background is blurry (high F stop?) in comparison to the thistle :)

Thank you, offelias, for the reply. It is taken with my Nokia phone, nothing fancy.
You take photos? Post some, it might be fun.

Wow that was from your Nokia!?? Nice!
I take photos but I'm more of a graphic designer (mature student). My photos are usually taken with the intention to be used as part of a magazine layout/advertisement.
Have you ever thought of getting a DSLR? The Sony A230 is the cheapest on the market and it's a real decent camera. I have the A200 which is no longer available but they are pretty similar. Nikon and Canon are excellent too but more expensive.
