Hi everyone,
Haven't posted for some months, but want to get back into the habit. I am pretty sure my brain has poodled lately and am now trying to get back onto the dog-so's to speak.....jacq aka dogofdiogenes
Bourbon Creams
He hates Bourbons,
hates adverts on TV.
He hates the jokes which aren't his own
but he likes me.
He hates his job and
smokers and coffee;
He hates my mother who mothers him but
he loves himself with me.
Happy New Year, everyone!!

Its yummy! Welcome back, Dg.
Liked the images immensely, but still trying to see the connection between the piece and the title"Bourbon Creams". Intruiging.
Cheers.

Hi
I personally read the title to be alluding to "nothing special or remarkable".
In direct contrast to how "special" the he has become as a result of the interaction with the N.
It´s a case of, a good man has a good woman to encourage him to be so.
Nice poem, no acrobatics or fancy metaphors, but a good solid message put over clearly.
Enjoyed
all the best

to anticipate touching what is unseen seems far more interesting than seeing what the hand can not touch
