Depends which drugs you're on.
I'd say the Wall for a good smoke.
Dark side for a good trip.
And Wish you Were Here for the inbetween.
Being so indecisive I couldn't bare to vote on it.
Also I know they are probably the 3 top Albums, but I would include Relics in there as well, great stuff.

ahh...see my friend and I argued on the premise that the listener is sober and unintoxicated.
A boring premise I know...
But yes, I think you're right

I didn't think there was such a body as an unintoxicated Floyd fan! Dark Side great but terrifically overplayed, The Wall also very enjoyable but a tad overblown in places (yes, even for Floyd), so I voted Wish You Were Here - which anyway contains their best song, 'Shine on You Crazy Diamond'.
Incidentally, has anybody listened to any Syd Barrett solo stuff? 'The Madcap Laughs' is a patchy but enthralling listen. I heard he's still alive and living somewhere near Chepstow...
Syd Barrett - Bob Dylan Blues

But I deserve it tho,

...For I am Mr. Dylan the king
And I'm free as a bird on the wing.'

Well, I am an unintoxicated, sober Floyd fan. Most of the time anyway. Perhaps I'm in the vast minority though...believe it or not I just like the music.

All of them!
It's imposible to vote for one over the other because I listen to them all regularly, I love meddle too!
Floyd are some of the best lyricists in musical history I think and thats before I even get on to how good the actual music is!!!
Good to know I am amongst those who share my passion.

look the beauty of Floyd is you can listen to them in just about any state of mind. each time is a new and enthralling experience. you can seriously get fucking lost in the music. as far as which is best. well, since you forced me to pick i went with wish you were here. as was previously mentioned, the best floyd song ever is on there. but really they're all excellent.
